We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Our wedding is Black Tie Optional; we ask that our guests wear a tuxedo, suit and tie, long gown, midi dress, or cocktail dress. Bright summer colors are encouraged (but not required)! For footwear, please note that the Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will be on a lawn; stilettos are discouraged. Additionally, note that the Grand Hotel has a dress code, which can be found at the link below under "Dress Guide":

You're welcome to walk, bike, or order a taxi. The Grand Hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from any downtown hotel. To organize a taxi, please call Carriage Tours at (906) 847-3323. Taxis are cash-only.

The wedding ceremony starts promptly at 4pm on Saturday, June 6th; we ask that all guests arrive by 3:40pm.

No! For those unfamiliar, the Grand Hotel typically charges an admissions fee for non-hotel guests. Regardless of if you are staying at the Grand Hotel, our guests will NOT have to pay the admissions fee to attend the wedding events.

While we love your kids, we ask that you keep your kids at home or at your hotel. We want you to enjoy yourselves!!

Mackinac is a busy summer destination and accommodations on the island can book up close to a year in advance. We want to encourage all of our guests to explore travel and reserve lodging as early as possible in order to ensure you can join us for our big day. There are a lot of great options on the island to stay. Our biggest recommendation here is to call to make your reservations. You will get an answer very quickly if you make the phone call connection.
